Perched on the bluffs overlooking the scenic Columbia River gorge is the McCormick Family Vineyard. It is located on the north side of the Columbia River near Lyle, Washington. This is a family run business specializing in wines made not only from grapes grown in the Columbia Gorge area, but also some nice vintages from the Willamette Valley and Northern California. UC Davis trained Brian McCormick is the winemaker and his father (who claims to be there just for 'support') is handing much of the day to day tasks of running a new vineyard and winery. The 2007 bottling was only the McCormick's 2nd production and they are quite proud of their results so far.
